It’s all just history repeating. Vielleicht. Shirley Bassey klingt in meinem Ohr wenn ich momentan die Begeisterung der Techwelt verfolge. Es werden wieder Unternehmen gegründet und grosszügig mit Kapital ausgestattet, deren erklärte Vision es ist, Enterprise Collaboration vollkommen zu überdenken.

Asana, so der spirituelle Name, Yoga, Bioessen und Hardware inklusive. Sehr spannend. Alleine das Team und die Investoren könnten eine Best-of-Liste des Silicon Valley bilden, die wenigen Informationen die zu hören sind, klingen vielversprechend. Aber auch andererorts scheint das Thema Enterprise Collaboration im Mainstream angekommen zu sein, wenn Salesforce mit Chatter sowohl Yammer als auch Linkedin und IBM Konkurrenz macht. Wenn zeitgleich Atlassian 32 neue Engineers aufnimmt, dann ist auch aus dieser Richtung etwas zu erwarten, höchstwahrscheinlich ein neues Produkt im Enterprise Space.

Wo sind Microsoft oder SAP in dieser Entwicklung? Kaum vorhanden. Und aus Sicht von System One und einer starken Sicht auf Enterprise Collaboration, ist das definitiv eine spannende Zeit.
